SEC Newgate China appoints May Lee as Associate Partner

Hong Kong, 25 March 2026: SEC Newgate China, part of the global corporate affairs advisory group SEC Newgate, today announced the appointment of May Lee as Associate Partner, further strengthening the firm’s public affairs advisory capability.

May is an experienced public affairs professional specialising in public policy, government relations, and stakeholder engagement across government, statutory, non-profit and emerging technology sectors. Based in Hong Kong, she advises clients on navigating complex policy environments and engaging effectively with stakeholders.

A former Administrative Officer in the Hong Kong SAR Government, May served in the Education Bureau and the Home Affairs Department, contributing to policy implementation, community affairs, and district-level governance. She has also worked on government relations in the Charities and Community Department of the Hong Kong Jockey Club and served in the CEO Office of the Hong Kong Microelectronics Research and Development Institute (MRDI), a government‑established body advancing microelectronics R&D and innovation collaboration.
